Top 10 Entrepreneurship Courses in India

“Entrepreneurship”, the term has several meanings depending on how people perceive it. It has originated from a French verb which means to undertake responsibility or risk. Mostly, it means an initiative that leads to a transaction of value, goods, services in exchange for mostly money.

To the youngsters, entrepreneurship is a fancy term according to what all had they seen on the internet, but beyond the luxury cars, fancy apartments, and millions and billions of dollars in the bank account, it takes some real efforts to be an entrepreneur.

While being good at entrepreneurial skills can do wonders, being bad at the same can be disastrous. There are a lot of people with great ideas who have failed for one or more reasons like, mismanagement, failure in service, problems with the execution, etc. While on the other hand there are people with very simple ideas, that are doing great in terms of business.

So, What it really takes to be an entrepreneur?

When one has a job, they are limited to their responsibilities as an employee, but an entrepreneur is responsible for all the operations. There’s always a factor of risk about the outcome, as it is quite uncertain to predict.

A start-up would require a lot of things to scale depending upon what kind of start-up one is planning to create. There are start-ups that barely require INR 10,000 to begin with while others would require enough to need funding to operate.

Most entrepreneurs, tend to have a good creative imagination, planning, and even execution but, many times they lack knowledge about certain aspects such as funding, bootstrapping, etc which could be the reason for their fall.

Anyways, this is 2020 and there’s nothing that one cannot get to learn. There are several courses to support entrepreneurs by guiding them through the very deep concepts of business, investing, share, partnership, recruitment, by-laws, etc.

As for the institutes, I am more interested in the first three institutes. So could you look into it? I am not sure they will have these infos on their website.

  20. Hi, I read your article after seeing it at a social media site. I have already completed graduation and I am currently looking for jobs. To be honest it’s a bit difficult to get a job at this time when the jobs vacancies are not open very much. I put my account on many social media job profiles and that’s when I came across your article on one of them. I think it was luck that favored me. The courses I have been doing in the meantime and this course together can just make my dream come true. I would like to participate in this training program. And as asked earlier I also wanted to know if these institutes provide internships after the course completition. There’s nothing extra to learn from this courses internship but if there’s such an opportunity I would definitely want to grab it. So I look forward to your reply. And thank you for this article.

  21. Hello. Sir I am a first year arts student and I want to enroll in this course. I have read your article and I found it very informative. I have been looking for new courses I could do during this lockdown period. And I came across this interesting course. I want to know more about the possibilities there are after this course. How we can proceed after that and what value the certificate holds and all that. I am new to this field so I have many questions. Also I am really thankful to you for this article. This is one of the few most detailed article I found on the internet. If you could also tell me what keywords I should be specially looking into, it will also be of great help. Then again I hope there are no special requirements for this course. And can we download this course certificate after the last exam or just after completing the course? Actually I would prefer if there are not many assignments in this course.

  22. I am studying art and I am interested in different fields related to this. I like to work in a creative atmosphere and I am also interested to develop my own website some time later. I saw your post and I was interested in it. Do you think I can combine both of these anyhow and move towards it? I would like to hear your opinion on this if possible. Sir you seem to be much knowledgeable than me in this line, and you have written such a good article so I hope you can guide me better in this field. I am currently a third year student and I will complete my graduation in a few months. I hope to have something to do after my graduation. I don’t want to sit still and look for courses then. So I would like to enroll in this course when I can. Also I am not sure but does this course have internship possibilities. I am not sure about this so could you tell me?

  23. Sir how much time should we allot each day for this course if I take weekdays classes? Could you tell me more about it. And are the resources and materials downloadable? Some institutes say that the resources are not downloadable but we can always access it. It’s not always possible to open net and then look for them. It would be better if I can download them. I am working in a corporate sector. Just started from this year, and since I had some spare time, I wished to enroll in an online course to polish my knowledge a bit more. And it seems to be the right decision to do so. I have looked through a few online sites but they were not satisfactorily. I think some of them also felt this way here. So I would like to take a chance and learn more about these institutes you have noted here. Which one would you suggest? Anyways thanks for the article.

  24. Hey there. Last time I checked this article I noted down a dew pointers and a few institutes. No matter what article you read on this topic, you will always be sure to find most of the institutes are common among them. As there aren’t that many genuine institutes out there on this course. There are many courses available but their certification and training method may not be satisfactory. It is thus always advised to look for reputed online institutes, least you fall into a trap. I am joining this course starting mid sep. I am really excited for this. No matter how many time I have prepared myself for my new job I just seem to get nervous. Since it’s an interactive session, it would be pretty exciting to enroll and be a part of a journey like this. I am so looking forward to it. Specially since its my first time attending an online class. Thanks for this article. Keep up the good work. And keep posting articles like this one.

  25. Hello sir. I am looking for institutes regarding this course. I am glad this article could help me with it. Honestly I was a bit afraid to enroll for an online course but after looking at it for a long time I finally started to think of applying for this course. I am not looking for institutes with high fees requirement. Since I am just interested in this course I thought it would be a great thing to learn during my free time. I am having classes for the time being for my language course. I found your article on an social media site and I thought it was interesting to read. You have seriously written in a very good orderly way. The institutes listed here are also within my requirements. I like your article very much. And also I would like to thank you for this article. It would be really nice if we could talk about the institutes in a bit elaborated way. Also I would have liked your opinion on the institute of your choice for this course. So if possible please reply. I am looking forward to our further conversation.

  26. Hi. I saw this article and it interested me. It’s a huge responsibility and the needed ability to be an entrepreneur. But challenges are always interesting. I am intern marketer. I would like to enroll in this course and learn further about this subject. But I see this subject has a wide range of topics related to other different course structures too. I wish to enroll by this month. Could you suggest me an institute I could opt for? It would be easier for me to choose an institute then. I saw this course a few times on different online training platforms before, but I never read an article on it. I started reading about it just a few days back after looking at your article. It certainly seems that this course will not be to waste if I were to enroll, whether I wish to start my own business or not. Nice article and I found it to be quite persuasive too. Thanks for this article.

  27. Hi there. I want to join in this course. Are there any dos and don’ts in this course I should keep in mind? I don’t know much about this and I also wish if you could suggest a few things. I don’t why but I didn’t quite hear much about this course in online ratings or platforms so I am not sure about this course. Moreover, it’s true that there is a huge controversy over this course. I think it’s quite natural to have queries is it’s anyone first time enrolling. maybe I don’t know much about this course or maybe I haven’t heard about it before that I am being uncomfortable about signing up for this program. Sir you have knowledge in this subject, more than any of us here that’s why we are reading this article for more information, so can you help out? I am looking forward to your reply.

  28. Hey I was looking through the internet when I came across your course. mostly I was looking for marketing articles, but I guess since this course also is a bit of involved in marketing skills, I came across your post. Well no matter the reason it was definitely a good thing though. I never imagined to look for this course or interested in being an entrepreneur. But your article was definitely interesting and nothing less. I am a bit curious about this course. since it’s my first time learning about this topic, I would like to have a brief discussion before jumping into conclusions like joining a course which I don’t even know of so well yet. I would like to know more about this course, it’s possibilities and different career options in details. you could suggest me an article where I could find all these details, but I would like to hear your opinions. Since it’s post I am interested in your views will definitely help.

  29. Hello. It’s so nice to read your posts. Earlier I read an article on digital marketing and I enrolled in an institute there after and I had a wonderful experience during the trainings. Thanks for recommending the training institute that time. Your blog really has a vast collection of different course articles. And it’s always a pleasure to read them. So well I am currently employed at reliance and I am interested in this course. I finally have some free times, no really heavy pressures or anything. And this is just the perfect time to dive in a new field and be a part of an amazing training journey. I am so excited for the training course. I see you have another wonderful list of institutes here. Thanks for this article. All your articles are so detailed. I really like this part of your blog. If I have any problems in choosing the institutes, please help me afterwards. I really appreciate your suggestions.

  30. Hi there. I read your article and found it quite intriguing. I wasn’t exactly looking for this course online, but I was just kind of surfing through the net for different independent career based courses and jobs. I was especially interesting in freelancing. But I really loved your article. This line of work definitely came to my mind, but I wasn’t sure about it. First of all, it’s because I am a graduate student and pursuing post graduation currently. I haven’t finished my studies yet. And also because I wanted to have a job where I can work from home. Can having an online blog or website be considered as being an entrepreneur? I am confused about this a bit. I have always had this interest in photography, so I was kind of hoping to create my own website on photography and all. Well it’s a different topic. But what do you think about this? I would like to hear your opinion on this. your reply can help me clear up this misunderstanding.

  31. Regardless of this institute list, I personally think there are not many sites or platforms where this course is taught efficiently. This may offend someone, so please remember it’s just a personal opinion. I don’t have any good experience regarding these online trainings. But not all the institutes are to blame. Since there are so many training sites, there are some people who open their fraud business with only their interest in mind. and so it becomes hard to figure out. So it’s always advisable to enroll at any institute which is reputable and you have heard of. I enrolled for this course a few years back and after enrolling they just suddenly cut us off. They obviously didn’t refund us nor did they answered any of our queries. But they held a demonstrative class before enrolling and it was so good that in a spur of a moment I decided to join in. Though that site is no longer on google, but I think there are sites like them enough around. This happened a few years back. I enrolled at a university for this course later on and it’s been a year since ii started my own online platform. I hope you all have pleasant experiences and take your time before enrolling.

  32. Just a few days back I read an article on this topic, the topic of the article was “can entrepreneurship be taught in a classroom”. I found that article quite interesting so I thought of mentioning it here. It had a few interesting facts and points. I think one would love reading this if they are considering this course. Many ought to start questioning whether this course is necessary or not, and I think your questions can be answered in this article. I found this one quite educative. As for this article, I want to thank you sir for taking the time to write this amazingly detailed article. I don’t think I need to hurry and look for more information about any of these institutes further. As this article provided all of it in a concise form. Really well done. I am impressed by the way it is written. The introduction part is also quite interesting. I read a lot of articles on different topics once I have free time and I tend to comment on them. So I hope you don’t take offence for commenting randomly. I too may be interested in this course now. Just taking a bit of time off currently. I would like you to recommend me an institute in the mean time, if possible.

  33. This course is indeed a very interesting course and challenging course. When I first read an article on the recently debated topic on this course, the first thing that came to my mind was that it offered a huge opportunity to improve oneself and keep doing that further in the future. I really like challenging challenges. I am currently studying architecture. This is yet another field which keeps on throwing challenges and makes you to think and work harder. Though I guess this is common for all subjects. I would like to enroll in this course and see what new possibilities it can offer me. I am so much interested to enroll for this course. I don’t have a perfect plan sketched out at the moment for what I would do after completing this course. But I am sure of two things, first and foremost it would be a great opportunity to learn something new and secondly it would add value in the resume. Thanks so much for this article. I had so many new things to learn from and look forward too. I hope I can join this starting from next month. Could you please add the list of when these institutes start accepting students for new batches. It would be easier to decide then.

  34. Hello there. I have heard a lot about this course. My seniors have all recommended me to have a thorough training in this course if I am serious to make this a career. Well I have looked through this course earlier. There were mainly topics on what this course is all about and there were also articles on whether this course is necessary to be an entrepreneur. The debates were interesting to read so far. I really do not know whether this training is necessary or not, but after looking at those institutes and their curriculum I think it’s definitely needed. I have no idea about business tactics, their guidelines or about the marketing skills. So I am really excited to join this course and learn further. This article is really well written, and the institutes are well presented in form. I am interested in the first institute. I will look for further information’s regarding this. thank you for writing this article. it really helped me choose an institute for enrollment.

  35. I want to enroll at an online institute to study this course. some say that it’s not easy being self taught through online mode but I think if the classes and lectures are well taught, it won’t be a problem anyways. I am a beginner and have little knowledge in this field. so sir can you help me choose an institute? your opinion will highly help me and also help me decide faster so that I can immediately apply for this course. I am doing hotel management study and I would like to do this course along side my main field of study. Will it be a problem if I do so? How many hours does a single lecture class take speaking in an overall basis? Knowing it will help me adjust my study schedule and all. How much time it takes and when does the classes online normally start? Could you reply back. I am very much interested in this course and I would like to join in the next batch starting, or otherwise I would have to wait till the next month. I guess I am at fault for starting so late. So could you help me? thank you in advance. I am waiting for your reply.

  36. Sir could you tell me the application date and also when the batch will start? I am interested in this course and I would like to enroll in this course in the next possible application date. I am a mass communications student, second year. And I would like to discuss about this topic in a bit more detail, if that’s not a problem for you. So I have read this list, at least up to the sixth institute, and I already liked one among them so I didn’t feel the urge to continue reading. I am sure they are all excellent institutes in their own fields, but I want to ask you about the certification. Does the certificate be recognized by the other companies or firms? Give me a bit more details on how much recognition can the certificate give. Two years ago, like this time, I searched for institutes and I wanted to join this course but I couldn’t at that time. and now after so much time I am still interested to learn this course. I have a stable job now and I don’t plan on quitting it any time soon. For now I just want to participate in this online training session. So if I want to create my own business after a four or five years can the certificate still hold value then? I am not too confident about online certificate values. So could you tell me more on this topic?

  37. I started looking for this course with half idea on this subject and half completely on enthusiasm. And finally after reading my fifth article, I finally have a clear understanding of this subject. For more in depth understanding I will join an online program. I read your article and their list and I really liked it. As said earlier, mostly there are many topics and ideas about this course. and students, or bloggers, or teachers all say that it’s an exciting journey for those who are persistent and optimistic. And I do agree with them. I have seen many people starting out their own career but after a few months they shut everything down and go back to their job life. So another thing that is important to have is the will for not giving up. It sounds great to open up a business, but the journey of doing that is really tough. So thanks to bloggers like you, who make your journey a tad bit easy. I always search for blogs like this one with institute lists, because they save time and give a summary of the institutes also. Thanks once again.

  38. Sir I want to join in this training program. I am mass communications third student from Allahabad. I am interested in this course. I would like to participate in the program, but before that can I attend a free online class on this topic to see whether how much the course is suitable for me. I am worried I may not be able to complete it. I have no idea about business marketing, or about business dealings and all. But I am interested in this course because of personal reasons. I would like to complete this course by this year so that I can implement my ideas into action, starting next year. This year has been a hazardous year. So many people and students are confused in what to do. Thankfully I started working as a part time editor or I would have been frustrated by this situation. I also want to do this course to keep myself busy while doing some productive work. I never knew this entrepreneurship subject can be so vast in curriculum. I may have taken this course lightly, so I was surprised to see there were so many things I was ignorant of. but still is it necessary to complete this course in order to become an entrepreneur? Can one not do it otherwise?

  39. Nice article. I also think that this course is an important step for building up your own business. It’s like a small time investment for the future. And I am all for it. At first I thought it would be enough to complete courses on marketing and business management, but when I went to apply for business management course from an online site, I saw their course schedule on this topic too. That’s when I thought it would be very essential to learn this course. Learning about the tricks are not enough if one doesn’t have the basic and in depth knowledge regarding the subject. I feel very happy and relaxed after reading your article. You didn’t directly jump to list out the institutes or to point them, and instead you gave such brief description in the introduction. For first time people it would be a great start. The institutes are also very detailed. I thank you for taking your time to write this. I haven’t checked out your other article, but I liked this one very much. I would also check those articles in due time. There are so many articles on the same topic that it becomes difficult to find the right article. In this sense I guess I was lucky. Thank you once again.

  40. Sir is an entrepreneur course and entrepreneurial management course different from each other? I have heard that both are different courses and if one wants to learn both of these they would have to join two different programs. But why is it so? Aren’t both of them on the same topic? The article where I first read it was about this topic, what it was all about, about different rules and regulations, and the like. They mentioned this there but they didn’t illustrate it further. So when I read your blog I thought perhaps you could give me an explanation. How they are different and why do we need to enroll separately for the seemingly same topic. I want to enroll in this course in the early September and I would like my classes to be interactive ones. I also would like if they had a classroom type of system, rather than a one on one interactive class. I don’t suppose but does this course have examinations? Like we the certificate if we pass the exam or we can just download or print the certificate after completing the course? I work at an MNC company in Delhi, and I am free at weekends, so I would take the weekend classes. I have decided on the institute. Thanks for the article.

  41. Hello. I want to enroll for this course. my friend enthusiastically referred this article for me, since I am interested in these kinds of job oriented courses. I am a finance student, last year bachelors. I am going to skip all the formalities and ask you if you could kindly sort down a list of institutes that offers this course in a short period of time, maximum in a month maybe. You see I have already enrolled for this course in a university, before this lockdown. But due to this situation, classes haven’t started yet. So before it did, I wanted a little run down on how things work in this sort of training program. If I could have an earlier knowledge, I would like to use it completely and kick start my course with a huge bang! Does it sound weird? Well I am sorry then. I never thought of enrolling for this online training, or rather I never searched for online institutes in this case. So can you quickly give me a list of institutes that offer short term program? It would be great if you could do that. I am looking forward to your reply. Feel free to state your opinion.

  42. I read an article on this topic in Forbes and after than I became interested in this course. When I realized I had already started reading an article on different institutes and all. That’s how I came to read your article. It immediately caught my attention as I was exactly looking for 10 online institutes on entrepreneurship. I have yet to decide what I want to accomplish after I complete this program, it may be a negative thing since it’s still undecided. Anyways after I read that having a degree in this course will eventually benefit me and it will also add credit to my profile if I want to make this my career. I want to apply for this course from any online institute, maybe one from the listed ones. I am a third year graduate student, I hope my educational qualification won’t be a problem to apply in this program. Since it’s an online class, how is it conducted? Just asking out of curiosity. Also can two people learn this course at a time? I was just thinking maybe since it’s an online training, me and friend can both benefit from it. I know it’s stupid to ask this and also it’s not appropriate to do so. But even if one does, no one will come to know if it’s not an interactive session. even though this thought crossed my mind, I will not do so. I want to take this course seriously.

  43. Reading articles like this makes me realize how things have changed. When I embarked on my road to being an entrepreneur I had no clue where to start from. But I did start planning my ideas, drafting the final plan and sharing it with friends. Well, that excitement is not something to be easily forgotten. It’s been six years since I have opened my business with my two friends. It been an adventure down this road. After the drafting and all, we realized we still lacked something. Only after a few months we all enrolled for this course. though I must say it wasn’t an online training program, rather it was at a well known university with classroom based teaching. That time too we had this option of online training but we still chose otherwise. So I think it’s a great opportunity for you guys to choose this training program. From the list it has, I can tell it will be one exciting experience if you choose any institute. choose one that fits with your profile the best. And give it your all. It’s not a hard training program, but it will be so, if you make it difficult. The main point is to have fun and remain focused. Best of luck to the future entrepreneurs!

  44. Sir good evening. It’s a very nice article and very detailed too. I have completed post graduation and I am currently interning at a software company. I would like to open my own business someday, sometime in the far future. But I want to create a strong foot holding before then. I am not too good with words, so please excuse my poor sentences. I have never been a fan of writing. Anyways, I wanted to ask you will these institutes support us after we have completed the course? Many universities do this. They support their students even after they have completed the course and see through they are standing firmly. But since it’s an online program, I am not so sure about it. Originally I applied for this course in a university but since this lockdown it wasn’t possible. And since it’s an unsure situation, who knows when the classes will start again. So I don’t want to waste this opportunity and I want to join this course as early as I can. I am not so sure about choosing an institute though. Could you give me your opinion? And tell me the fees of that institute is possible. Thank you.

  45. Which of these institutes provide interactive classes? Video classes are not really welcomed, at least not for me. I would like an interactive session as it feels more like having a class and it’s also quite easy to ask questions. in a video class even if you ask a question you can’t be sure when it’s going to be answered. I have completed a course in marketing previously and I had to wait till I get an answer and it was quite uncomfortable. Since it’s an important course I would prefer a more comfortable interactive class. A lot of things can be discussed in that way. And is it a diploma course on GST or a course on intermediate certification? If we pursue a deeper understanding of GST, then will this training course suffix? Or will have to sign up for another training session? Well maybe I asked too many questions, so please answer them slowly. All of these questions are really important. Looking forward to your reply. And thank you for this article. I loved reading it and it was interesting too. Thanks for detailing it so much.
